Week 25: Pikachu
Working on this project project has shown me that it is easy for your expectations to become to much of a focus. My expectation of what I would find verses my actual discovery threw me for a loop. I was forced to rethink what my topic really was and what it was that I learned. I expected to find the actions of people in stressful situations to directly reflect their past actions. What I found was that, when placed in similar situations, no matter the background they considered the same options.
Through my project and topic of study I have come to the belief that many of our fears never actually go away, but only morph. For example, or childhood fear of the dark is actually just a fear of the unknow. As I prepare for my first year of college and living on my own, this is a fear I am becoming very familiar with.
